THE PRACTICE
A Practice Between Worlds
My practice moves between architecture and ceramic art, between structure and surface, between space and matter.
What may appear as different disciplines is, for me, part of a continuous inquiry into how material, light, form, and space shape perception and experience.
I do not see these as separate disciplines.
They are different ways of approaching the same questions: how material becomes form, how form shapes space, and how light transforms perception.
Across architecture, ceramics, objects, and spatial explorations, my practice continues to move between these conditions.
Two disciplines. One continuous inquiry.
My luster glazed ceramics continue this logic. Earth, fire, and metal converge into surfaces that both reflect light and absorb it. The metallic sheen is not merely an aesthetic quality; it is a medium for light’s movement. Light slides across the surface, shifts with time and position, and reveals the work anew in each moment. In this condition, the form is no longer static — it becomes animated through light.

It is a way of understanding how built form shapes movement, perception, and human experience.

Ceramic art is where I explore clay, surface, fire, texture, glaze, and transformation through matter.
It is a way of understanding how material can carry form, light, memory, and experience.

I do not shape the clay
I release the light trapped within its silence. Every piece is a testament to the moment when earth ceases to be matter and begins to be spirit.
THE RED BRIDGE
Brick: The Bridge Between Two Worlds
Brick begins in the earth, yet becomes architecture.
It belongs to matter, yet creates space.
Its rhythm, repetition, texture, and relationship with light have become a language through which architecture and ceramic art can meet.
